I really like to slow cook sloppy joes. It changes the taste completely, making them much sweeter and heartier. Give it a try!

Ingredients
1
red onion, chopped
1
red pepper, chopped
2 pounds
ground beef
1 cup
barbeque sauce
1/4 tablespoon
salt
1 clove
garlic
1 teaspoon
tangy mustard
1/4 teaspoon
pepper
1 package
hamburger buns
Directions

 

  1. Take onion, red pepper and beef in the slow cooker
  2. Mix the barbeque sauce, salt, garlic, mustard and pepper together in a bowl and add to the slow cooker.
  3. Stir until everything is mixed.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours.
  5. Serve on hamburger buns. 

 

 

Serve : 6 sandwiches

Ready in : 20 minutes

Good. I used ketchup instead of barbeque sauce which I thought worked just fine. I might try bbq sauce next time.
