My kids love to help me make traditional monkey bread (they sometimes call it Mommy Bread), and this is a variation I came up with to make this pull-apart bread even more appealing to those with a sweet tooth! It's fast--no need to make your own dough--and super for parties and brunches!

Directions

Preheat oven to 350. Open the cans of biscuits and cut each biscuit into quarters. Combine 2/3 cup sugar, cinnamon, chocolate chips and 1/2 cup walnuts. Roll each quarter biscuit in the mixture to coat, making sure some chocolate chips and nuts stick. Grease a bundt pan. Spread remaining 1/2 cup walnuts evenly in bottom. Loosely drop biscuits in pan. Whisk together the butter, 1/2 cup remaining sugar, corn syrup, and jam, if using. Pour over biscuits in pan. Bake 40 minutes on bottom rack. Cool 5 minutes, then invert onto serving plate. Let the pulling apart begin!

Serve : 24

Ready in : 1 hour

I used to make this with real dough, but it takes much longer, and frankly, it's just as good with bisquits. My grandkids couldn't get enough of it!
