Ingredients
1/2 cup
shortening
1/4 cup
boiling water
1 1/2 cups
cake flour
1/2 tsp.
baking powder
1/2 tsp.
salt
Directions

Put the shortening in a large bowl and pour the boiling water over it. Beat it until cold and creamy. If there's time, chill it before continuing, but it's not necessary.

Sift the flour before measuring. Then re-sift it with the baking powder and salt. Combine the liquid with the flour. Stir until it forms a smooth ball. Cover the dough and chill it until it's firm.

Serve : 2 crusts (9-inches each)

Ready in : 10 min plus chilling
