This cabbage casserole is my grandmother's recipe. I remember eating it on cold nights are her house.

Directions

Cook onion in a pan until slightly brown. Add ground beef, also until brown. Drain and layer cabbage & beef mixture in a lightly greased pan. Pour soup cans on top and sprinkle with salt and cayenne pepper. Cover with foil and bake at 350 for one hour and 15 min, until cabbage is tender. 

Serve : 4-6 people

Ready in : 20 minutes prep, 1 hour, 15 minutes cooking time

Very good. I added the salt and pepper as I put each layer into the pan and I think that enhanced the taste overall.
