Directions

In a pot or tea kettle boil the water; steep with the tea bags for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags; pour tea into crockpot. Stir in ginger, honey, almond extract and lemon zest. Add pears. Cover and cook on High for 3 hours or Low for 6 hours. Serve warm or chill overnight. Serve with vanilla ice cream.

Serve : 8

Ready in : 3-6 hrs

I'm doing Weight Watchers, and this makes a really satisfying dessert without the points/calories. I have it with a half cup of fat-free vanilla ice cream. Going to try it with peaches next.
