Ingredients
4 (1-inch-thick)
bone-in pork chops
8 oz.
sliced mushrooms
1
onion, chopped
1 large
red pepper, cut into strips
1 clove
garlic, chopped
2 (8-oz) cans
tomato sauce
2 Tbs.
vinegar
1/2 tsp.
oregano
1/2 tsp.
basil
1/2 tsp.
salt
2 Tbs.
cornstarch
1/4 cup
cold water
Directions

In a skillet brown the chops on both sides. In the crockpot, stir together the mushrooms, onions, red pepper and garlic. Arrange the chops on top. In a small bowl, mix the rest of the ingredients except the cornstarch and water. Pour over the chops, cover and cook on Low about 6-8 hours. Remove the chops and pour the sauce into a small pot. Stir together the cornstarch and water and stir into the sauce. Bring to a boil, lower the heat and simmer a few minutes until thickened. Pour over the chops.

Serve : 4

Ready in : 6-8 hours
