Comfort food at its best, rice pudding is a hearty, healthy dessert and my family just loves it. Here's my recipe!

Ingredients
2 1/2 cups
cooked rice
1/2 cup
evaporated milk
3/4 cup
brown sugar
1 1/2 tablespoon
butter , softened
2 teaspoons
vanilla
1 teaspoon
cinnamon
1 teaspoon
nutmeg
1
egg, lightly beaten
Directions

 

  1. Mix all the ingredients together and put into your crockpot.
  2. Cover and cook oh high for 1 hour, then low for 5 hours
  3. Serve immediately

You might want to try topping the rice pudding with raisins or walnuts before serving. 

 

Serve : 4-6 people

Ready in : 10 minutes

Delicious. Boy, do I love rice pudding. I used scalded milk instead of evaporated milk and I think that might give it a better flavor. I also added some maple syrup over the top at the end which was divine....
