World's Best Oatmeal

This is SOOO easy to do overnight in the slow-cooker, and you will wake up to a hearty, hot breakfast of nutty, chewy oats.

Ingredients
1 cup
steel-cut oats
4 cups
water
1/4 cup
nuts, such as pecans or almonds, if desired
1/4 cup
dried fruit, such as raisin, sliced apricots, or cranberries
brown sugar, if desired
milk, if desired
Directions

Before bed, place with oats, water, nuts and dried fruit in a crockpot; cook 8-9 hours. Serve topped with brown sugar and milk, if desired.
